4 Steps to Mental Wellness
“I created the Pockitudes 4-step gratitude journal practice during my ongoing healing from anxiety and a harsh inner voice. The practice is grounded in research showing the benefits of mindfulness, unplugging, writing by hand, recording gratitudes, committing acts of kindness, and reflecting on positive intentions to support mental wellness.” – Frederic, Founder
NAME IT The six “I’m Grateful For” categories encourage you to look beyond the obvious and notice a wider range of moments that inspire gratitude. Select the ones that resonate and write your gratitude just below to cultivate presence and mindfulness.
DEFINE IT The “Why I’m Grateful” prompt invites meaningful self-reflection. It shifts gratitude from something you do to something you feel. The act of writing by hand can calm the mind, support mindfulness, and reduce stress. It can serve as a simple form of meditation.
FROM ME TO WE Acts of kindness, offered without expectation, gently pull us out of self-focus and strengthen our sense of connection with others.
MINDFULNESS Reflection helps us understand ourselves more deeply. Setting positive intentions creates a vision for who we want to become and can help quiet the inner critic.
FREDERIC’S VISION
Help us normalize mental health by reaching thousands of Americans in mental health crisis, especially those in underserved communities.

I've been using Pockitudes for years and they've been an integral part of my personal journey of mindfulness and gratitude. I have found the structure and prompts imbedded in the journals to be extremely helpful in overcoming the inertia that sometimes prevents me from taking pen to paper. I travel extensively for work and the size helps reduce how much I carry with me! I also like the sense of accomplishment I feel each time I finish one and get to choose a new pattern as a reward! — Craig, verified buyer

Winter has a way of slowing everything down. The days get shorter. The air gets sharper. The sunlight becomes a scarce visitor rather than a daily companion. For many people, winter brings a dip in energy, mood, and motivation. This is a natural response to colder weather, reduced daylight, and the shift into a quieter season.
